Pilot of the broader changes to the Service Coordination Tool Templates (SCTT) for 2009 SCTT Revision

The broader changes to the SCTT intended to be made as part of the 2009 SCTT Revision will be piloted in the first week of August 2008 and include new questions and prompts around vision, accommodation, transport, problem gambling, alcohol consumption, oral health, chronic disease, child and family issues, and consent.

The pilot has two components. The first component will take the form of desktop / paper-based trials, by individual clinicians, that work through a series of (likely three) referral scenarios using SCTT which are then returned (via post) so that the inter-rater reliability of responses can be analysed. The second component will take the form of focus groups that work through a series of (again, likely three) referral scenarios using SCTT and provide feedback on their general usability. There will be one focus group for clinicians with little or no experience in using SCTT and one focus group for clinicians with much experience in using SCTT.

The desktop / paper based trials and the focus groups will take place in the first week of August. The time committment for the desktop / paper based trials is likely to be two hours while the time committment for the focus group is likely to be three hours. Participation in the pilot will reimbursed.

Registrations have now closed.
