June 2007 update

The SCTT Revision 2009 will focus on bigger projects that were not achieved in the SCTT Revision 2006. The key projects aim to make the tools more useful for specific consumer groups and relevant to new sectors. The key projects are listed on this website and information can be found on project updates, advisory group terms of reference and membership.

There will be a two-part approach to the current revision:

Part 1: Updated code sets released 1 July 2008
The SCTT and the Common Client Data Set (CCDS) will be aligned as they were in the SCTT Revision 2006. The CCDS is a set of thirty data elements used across Rural & Regional Health & Aged Care Services Division data collections. It is important to maintain the alignment of the SCTT and CCDS to ensure that the agency data collection aligns with the reporting guidelines. In this part of the release, the SCTT templates will not be changed, however the codes will be updated to match the CCDS and the only noticeable change to practitioners will be that the SCTT Code Set form will be updated.

Part 2: SCTT 2009 released 1 July 2009
The second part of the release involves implementing the more significant changes to the SCTT, i.e. the key projects mentioned above, until they are completed. The updated SCTT will be released to the sector on 1 July 2009. Training will be provided to the sector on the updated SCTT 2009 prior to its release.
