| ReportsResults from the VPSM survey are presented in two ways: six monthly individualised hospital reports and a statewide annual report. 1. Individual Hospital (wave) reports Six monthly individual hospital reports, known as wave reports, are provided directly to hospitals to use to inform improvements to hospital care, services and processes. Hospitals can draw on these results to benchmark their performance against like hospitals – that is, hospitals of a similar size and service configuration. Hospitals may elect to communicate VPSM results to their respective communities to inform of performance in particular areas. 2. Annual Statewide Report A statewide VPSM report is published each year and can be downloaded from this website or at www.vpsm.com.au In an annual report the current year’s VPSM findings (that is, a composite analysis of patient satisfaction drawing on the information presented in the relevant year’s two wave reports) are contrasted with the previous year’s results and, where appropriate, presented with trend data from all the earlier years. From 2005-06, this report includes the statewide results for two sub groups of VPSM respondents:
