Resources for healthcare services and providersPage contents: Further information Patients, consumers, healthcare services and healthcare providers all have a role in contributing to a safe and high quality system, and ensuring the realisation of healthcare rights. It is hoped that The Australian Charter of Healthcare Rights in Victoria brochure provides opportunities for healthcare services to broaden the way consumer rights can be used to assist in improving service quality and responsiveness. It also provides a platform for discussion about healthcare rights between patients, consumers, families, carers and healthcare providers.
