What's There to Eat?
What's There to Eat? is a resource for early childhood service
provides about nutrition and how to encourage healthy eating in families.
It has been developed and designed specifically for professionals who work
in early childhood services, i.e. child care centres, kindergartens/early
childhood centres, maternal and child health centres.
The guide provides resources to assist professionals by:
- updating working knowledge of food and nutrition
- providing access to food and nutrition information useful for parents
and families
- giving practical, hands-on activities that promote healthy eating
- offering linkages to other service providers and sources of information.
What's There to Eat? newsletters
What's There to Eat? quarterly newsletters provide updates on the
latest nutrition issues affecting young children for maternal and child
health nurses, childcare professionals, kindergarten teachers and dietitians.
Included is information on the latest research and case studies.
