If you are working in a Victorian public health service, you may be eligible for a scholarship to support you to do postgraduate study.
Nursing and Midwifery Workforce provides the funding for these scholarships directly to Victorian public health services.
Victorian public health services are responsible for determining the priority areas of practice, process of applications, selecting candidates and administration of the scholarships. Priority areas are based on workforce shortages, and projected demand in areas of clinical practice.
Eligible public health services/rural consortia will receive their scholarship quota by 17 October 2014
For 2014-15 additional targeted scholarships have been allocated for rural midwifery, regional special care nursing/neonatal nursing and oncology.
Information regarding all scholarships (eligibility and conditions) is available in the following guidelines.
