WorkForce Development Grants- Enrolled Nurse Mapping Project

Nursing and Midwifery Policy is offering funding to public health services to map the current Enrolled nurse (EN) workforce within their organisations.

A one-off grant of $35,000 will be provided to eligible health services (or consortia) to assist with the costs associated with collecting and analysing this data. The information will provide health services with baseline data about their EN workforce.

The one page application form is attached to the guidelines. The closing date for application is COB 10 April 2012.

The Enrolled Nurse (EN) Workforce Scoping Tool

It is not obligatory to use this tool but it has resources to support the profiling of the nurse workforce, with particular emphasis on scoping and reporting the capacity for employment of ENs at unit and agency levels.
