Nursing and midwifery vacancies appear in the print and online media.

The Victorian Health Employment website advertises public sector health jobs (its updated daily).
You need to apply for the job directly to your employer of choice. Full, part time and casual nursing or midwifery jobs are available.  With over 110 public health services and over 190 public aged care facilities across metropolitan and rural Victoria, there is plenty of variety.

Pre-employment/Pre-placement Safety Screening (Police Checks)

To minimise the risk to clients and patients, people employed in direct client or patient contact or in direct management of these services in public health and aged care facilities have to be assessed to ensure they are suitable, including police checks.
