For Health ServicesClear health planning framework The Metropolitan Health Strategy provides health service providers with a clear framework for health planning for the next five to ten years. The strategy recognises and responds to the many challenges that you experience each day working in the health system. The Strategy is not starting with a blank page. The directions have evolved from an already strong and comprehensive base. With the support and hard work of health practitioners Victoria has a world-class health system. Improvements involve further investment in infrastructure, equipment and services, and the next round of projects are listed on this site. But the critical role of the strategy has been the work with other health service providers to identify opportunities to strengthen capacity, bridge gaps in the metropolitan health system and deliver the overall directions for detailed planning work within metropolitan health services. We welcome your interest in the strategy and other related documents
and look forward to our continued work on developing and delivering a
world-class health system. |
