Evaluation of the Southern Health Psychiatric Triage Service

In 2005, Southern Health had Victoria’s only example of a centralised mental health triage service based on a call centre model. The Auditor-General recommended that (then) Department of Health (DHS) undertake an evaluation of the program, with a view to replicating its successes elsewhere. This report is the outcome of that evaluation.
