Mental health triage minimum dataset

Complementing the new triage scale, the Department of Health has introduced a triage minimum dataset to enable monitoring of service demand and performance across the State. This will support strategic decision making and service planning.

The guideline Triage minimum dataset 2010–11, Volume 1, Data extract and file layout specification (October 2010) specifies the layout and format of triage data files that must be submitted by each mental health service to the Department of Health for the 2010–11 financial year.
