Renew: a psychosocial response to bushfires

The February 2009 bushfires have had a devastating impact on many Victorian
individuals, families and communities. The Brumby Government has a psychosocial
1 response to the fires, which will be implemented in partnership with
communities, frontline workers and clinical experts in trauma to ensure
that those who are affected receive the best possible help to regain
their mental health.
General Adult Community Mental Health Services: Guidelines for Service
Provision - July 1996 - in hard copy format only
These guidelines were designed to assist community mental health
staff, managers and others involved in service development. They focus
on a continuing care consultancy component and non-residential rehabilitation
service component of the adult mental health service system. They
address issues of staffing, case management, integrated service delivery,
consumer participation and complaints, working with families and carers,
collaborative practices and medico-legal issues. The guidelines are
intended to complement those developed for CAT and MST services and
aim to establish a consistent approach to community mental health
service delivery in Victoria.
