Volume II - Follow up of case studies and interviews with all area mental health service managers The final evaluation report was completed 18 months later in 2005 and follows up themes identified in the baseline report. This qualitative evaluation used the responses from face-to-face and telephone interviews with Managers of six 'case study' Primary Mental Health and Early Intervention teams, the Area Mental Health Service (AMHS) Managers, staff from the Divisions of General Practice and local Community Health Service staff. A state-wide perspective was also gained by telephone interviews with the remaining AMHS Managers. The overall finding of the evaluation was that key stakeholders perceived PMHEI teams to have a positive impact on primary care providers, clients and on the operation of the AMHS. |
