ProjectsReturn to WorkIn 2007 the Management Innovation Council undertook an initiative in relation to Return to Work Strategies. An external consultant was engaged to prepare a Return to Work Initiatives report in consultation with a steering group comprising of members from the Council secretariat, Rural and Metropolitan Branch. Council has endorsed the report, which contains examples of current practices in Victoria, a Good Practice Model and a self-assessment matrix which have been tested and validated with representatives from a number of both metropolitan and rural/regional health services to ensure that they meet each agency’s particular circumstances and needs. This project will supplement the already established Building Positive Attendance Victoria project and compliment our broad workforce strategy. The report is available electronically below.
