'20|20 Vision - 20 Years since Ottawa, 20 Years from now'

13-16 March, 2005

It's been 20 years since the inception of the visionary document, the Ottawa Charter. The Conference reflected back on what we've achieved through our health promotion successes, what we have learned (or should have learned) from our failures, and what we still need to do to achieve the best results in health promotion practice.

The conference sub-themes were the five action areas of the Ottawa Charter:

• Developing Personal Skills
• Creating Supportive Environments
• Building Healthy Public Policy
• Reorienting Health Services
• Strengthening Community Action
