Koori Health Counts!

Koori Health Counts! is produced as part of the Improving Care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Patients (ICAP) program.

The publication provides health information on Aboriginal people from Victoria. The information is presented in a way that is accessible to both the Aboriginal community and mainstream health providers.

Data in this publication is gathered both from Aboriginal Hospital Liaison Officers and from mainstream hospital systems: the Victorian Admitted Episodes Dataset (VAED) and the Perinatal Morbidity Statistics System (PMSS).

Koori Health Counts! was first published in 1993. Eelectronic copies are available from 2000.
