Introduction
The Keep Me Safe Cards were developed by the City of Ballarat, in partnership with a range of stakeholders, under the State Government child injury prevention initiative "SafeStart". The Keep Me Safe Cards are a pictorial based child safety resource for service providers working with parents with an intellectually disability. The cards provide helpful prevention advice on a range of common causes of unintentional child injury in the home including, poisoning, burns, drowning, falls and dog bites. Accompanying the card set is an instructional card for service providers suggesting how the cards should be used.
