A priority development for Victoria is to improve childhood immunisation in low coverage areas. The Australian Childhood Immunisation Register (ACIR) identifies children not age appropriately immunised. Introducing innovative programs assists towards an increase in the number of children with a complete immunisation history recorded on ACIR. This site aims to provide user friendly information and tools to target low coverage immunisation areas.
The National Centre for Immunisation Research & Surveillance (NCIRS) provides quarterly reports on childhood immunisation coverage from ACIR.
