³Patients on the waiting list who are treated during the quarter: Treated patients includes cases taken off the waiting list when they have undergone the planned procedure as well as cases booked to undergo the planned procedure and cases in which the previously intended procedure is cancelled.

⁴Includes maternity and newborns admissions. Prior to 1 July 1995, newborns were not a defined admission type and were therefore shown under either emergency or elective admissions
