This Rural public health care agencies alliances policy outlines government requirements for the operation of rural health information and communication technology (ICT) alliances.
The policy was first released as circular 6/2008 in April 2008. This circular updates the template joint venture agreement with the following changes:
- Under 'Instrument of Authorisation' in the definitions and interpretation, Board has been changed to Executive Committee.
- The definition of commencement date has been changed. "Commencement Date" now means the date the last of the mandated members signs or 1 July 2008, whichever is first.
- Signature blocks have been added for foundation members.
- Stray editing comments have been removed from clause 3.3 and 4.6.
The policy otherwise remains unchanged.
