Subject: Emergency ambulance services price increase
Purpose: To advise hospitals and the ambulance services of an emergency ambulance service price increase effective 1 January 2007
The Government has agreed to increase prices for emergency ambulance attendances and transports, effective from 1 January 2007.
This price increase will apply to all public and private hospitals. A similar price increases has also been applied to patients from the community, TAC, WorkCover and the Department of Veteran Affairs emergency attendances and transports.
