New CEO for northeast

Rural Northeast Health Wangaratta’s new Chief Executive Officer Margaret Bennett has taken up her role.

Ms Bennett has an extensive health industry career after starting as nurse at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne in 1974.

Her most recent role was in Coffs Harbour as the general manager of the North Coast Area Health Service, made up of six hospitals and 12 community health services.

Ms Bennett has also worked in Western Australia, including time with the Royal Flying Doctor Service, as well as six years in northern NSW.
