Practical advice on child health conditions
As part of its 150th Anniversary celebration, the Royal Children’s Hospital launched the RCH Paediatric Handbook 10th edition.
The handbook presents collective expertise of the hospital’s world leading clinical staff, including practical advice on the assessment and management of common and serious child health conditions.
An essential practical management guide to the health problems of newborns, children and adolescents, the Paediatric Handbook is a valuable reference for all medical students, hospital residents and community practitioners.
New chapters in this edition include:
• Communication skills;
• Ethics;
• Trans and gender-diverse health;
• Gynaecology;
• Rehabilitation medicine.
Since the ninth edition, the RCH has seen the formation of the Melbourne Children’s Campus, bringing together four inter-linked organisations at a single site – the Royal Children’s Hospital, the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, the University of Melbourne department of paediatrics and the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation.
RCH’s research, teaching and clinical practice are fully integrated with the goal of delivering consistent excellence in paediatric care, education and training.
