Implementation

PCMS

HealthSMART’s patient and client management system (PCMS) is being rolled out to metropolitan public health services and rural health alliances.

PCMS is live at:

• Northern Health
• Peninsula Health
• Gippsland Health Alliance
• Royal Women’s Hospital
• Mercy Health
• Western Health
• Grampians Rural Health Alliance

Over 20,900 users across these agencies currently access PCMS.

Melbourne Health, Southern Health, Loddon Mallee Health Alliance and Eastern Health have also signed on to implement the system. Ten agencies are expected to be live with i.Patient Manager by end 2009 with Eastern Health expected to go-live early 2010.

CMS

HealthSMART’s client management system (CMS) supports the administration of clients at standalone community health services (CHS) in metro areas.

CMS is live at:

• Darebin CHS
• Nillumbik CHS

Over 4,000 users across the Victorian public health sector are now using CMS. Doutta Galla was the 22nd and final go-live as part of the HealthSMART program scope. Planning is currently underway for agencies to upgrade from CMS version 6.8 to 6.9 with upgrades scheduled to commence December 2009.
