Common Technology Infrastructure (CTI) initiative
Governance
The Common Technology Infrastructure Product Planning Group (CTI PPG) is intended to act as an expert advisory body to the HealthSMART Services Council, representing the strategic alignment, technology infrastructure and service delivery interests of the Victorian public health sector.
The role of the CTI PPG is to govern the state-wide design and initial implementation for the Victorian Health CTI solution. The CTI PPG is responsible for:
- The endorsement of the scope of services offered;
- The establishment of the principles and standards for each service, such as service levels and user identification formats;
- Overseeing the initial agency engagement take-up; and
- Ensuring the deliverables of the CTI solution(s) remains aligned with agency requirements.
The CTI PPG membership consists largely of Chief Information Officers and other information technology service delivery experts within the Victorian public health sector, as well as HealthSMART representatives. The PPG Chair sits as an ex officio member on the HealthSMART Services Council.
