Overview

Health Promotion in Gippsland presents a series of guidance notes on strategies and evaluation tools for Gippsland’s health promotion priority areas:

• physical activity
• health eating
• mental wellbeing
• sexual and reproductive health.

They provide guidance on both implementation and evaluation, and provide the starting point for Primary Care Partnerships in Gippsland to lead a catchment planning process and ultimately prepare a catchment level plan for each priority area for the 2009-12 period.

The selection of interventions and the support materials have been developed in consultation with a broad range of Gippsland agencies and Monash University Gippsland Medical School.
