It draws together evidence from the published literature, in addition to interviews with key stakeholders experienced in promoting nutrition within a range of childhood settings, including preschools, primary schools and secondary schools. This report is a critical review of the effectiveness of interventions designed to promote healthy eating in children aged 0-15 years. It provides information on studies and nutrition promotion programs that have been undertaken in Australia and internationally. It also provides a series of suggestions for practitioners in this area. |
