SACS Submission Reports
After a file is submitted to the portal, it is handled by the VHIRS SACS system, and processed according to HL7 encoding and SACS business rules and edits. After the completion of the validation and loading process, a report is produced which is sent back to the reporting agency via the Health Collect Portal. This report provides metadata about the load, and also contains a list of any validation errors that may have occurred during the process, where messages fail to meet business rules outlined in section 4, or fail edits listed in section 8. This report will be available subsequent to the transmission of your SACS file. Should a submission report file not appear in the portal after at least 30 minutes, please contact the HDSS helpdesk on 9616 8141 for information on the status of the system.
