HDSS Home < Clinical Coding and PICQ Home < DH ICD-10-AM/ACHI Library File and VEMD Library File for 2011-12The ICD-10-AM/ACHI Library File 2011-12 for Seventh Edition, effective for all separations on or after 1 July 2011 is available for downloading. The ICD-10-AM/ACHI library file contains all ICD-10-AM Seventh Edition diagnosis, morphology and ACHI procedure codes, together with appropriate edits, mappings and code descriptions. Software suppliers and Victorian hospitals are advised to download the new version of the ICD-10-AM/ACHI Library File. The Victorian Library File is a modification of the National ICD-10-AM/ACHI ASCII files, which are produced by the National Casemix and Classification Centre (NCCC). National ICD-10-AM/ACHI ASCII files can be obtained by contacting the NCCC on 02 9266 1323 or email: icd-nccc@uow.edu.au. The VEMD Library File 2011-12 for Seventh Edition, effective for all emergency presentations on or after 1 July 2011 is also available for downloading. The ICD-10-AM/ACHI (2.4 MB) and VEMD (122KB) Library Files are zipped Excel files and have been password protected utilising the same password as last year. If you do not have, or have forgotten the password, please contact the HDSS Helpdesk via email (HDSS.HelpDesk@health.vic.gov.au) and we will forward the password to you. The licensing agreement only permits Dept of Health to release our Library Files within Victoria to hospitals and software vendors and approved third party organisations working with the Dept of Health. A separate file containing procedure block numbers with their short and full descriptions is also available for downloading if required.
