PICQ VIC Online

As an initiative under the Health Data Quality Assurance Framework, The Department of Human Services (DHS) has now developed an internet based application to provide all Victorian hospitals with access to their PICQ results.  Benchmarking against peer groups and access to the state average results will also be available from this site.

To ensure a smooth implementation, PICQ VIC will be available to a ‘pilot group’ of hospitals before being rolled out to all agencies.  Selected pilot group hospitals will be contacted shortly with the remaining hospitals to follow soon after.

The department strongly urges all hospitals to take advantage of this initiative by completing the PICQ VIC registration form which is available to the right..

Once registered, Health Service staff will be able to access their own data on the web-site.  PICQ data held on the web-site will be refreshed each month, and usage of the site will also be monitored.
