ICD Coding Newsletter

The ICD Coding Newsletter ceased production in September 2006 and was replaced by the VICC queries database.

The scope of the newsletter includes coding feature articles, selected coding queries and responses, and various information updates including feedback on the quality and uses of coded data (as reported to the Victorian Admitted Episodes Dataset) and are retained on this page for reference.

Queries resolved prior to Fifth Edition have been retired and the advice in these queries is not considered to be current for audit purposes.  Coders must submit a new query to Victoria ICD Coding Committee if they consider the advice in a retired query to be still current or to be in need of updating.
