Information about Health Data Standards & Systems (HDSS) used in Victoria's Hospitals

This form should be used to apply to be added to the HDSS Contacts database to receive information provided by the Health Data Acquisition and Health Data Development Units.

It is important that your name is on this list and that your details are up to date if you want to receive information from us relating to your work.

Having your name on this database presupposes that you are happy to receive any information relevant to your work. If you receive information that you are not happy to receive, please notify us via the HDSS Helpdesk.

Information provided includes:

HDSS Bulletins: Updates and information regarding all the datasets administered by the HDA and HDD units, as well as updates to Circulars, ICD Coding, and other general information.
ICD Coding: Information specific to Clinical Coders and Health Information Managers regarding ICD-10-AM/ACHI coding
VAED Notifiables: Notifiables spreadsheets are emailed to a nominated person in each hospital
APET: Updates and information relating to the APET system
PICQ: Updates and information relating to PICQ
