for 1 July 2001 [May 2001] (PDF 82KB) At the recent HDSS Forum, the Department indicated that it would be beneficial to collect information relating to the VAED 2001-2002 software upgrade process. Two 'VAED Software Supplier Effectiveness Reviews' have been posted below, one for the hospital to complete and one for the software supplier to complete. It is anticipated that the software review will provide the Department, Software Suppliers and hospitals,with a means for comparing the effectiveness of software upgrades. By releasing the questionnaire with the 'Specifications for Revisions' document it is expected that both hospitals and software companies will be in a position to complete the questionnaire as each stage of the upgrade is undertaken. Once the process is finalised, and the questionnaires are returned to the Department, it is intended that the results will be published and forwarded to each site and software company for comparison.
