Health & aged care

When the DHS Information Management Strategy commenced in 2005, it was initially confined to Health and Aged Care programs in the MHACS and RRHACS divisions (which included MHD at that time).

The information management reform process in Health and Aged Care Programs is now well established, and there is an infrastructure for ongoing information management governance.

Internal business rules require annual Executive Director approval via a data collection review process, for all proposed, new, existing, amended and ad hoc data collection and reporting requirements of funded / external organisations.
