Evaluation of HACC Cultural Planning StrategyPage contents: Overview | Download documents OverviewProviding culturally appropriate services for people from CALD backgrounds is core business for the HACC Program in Victoria. Over time, the HACC program has implemented a number of strategies and projects aimed at improving service provision to our CALD population including the HACC Cultural Planning Strategy, Equity and Access projects and the Culturally Equitable Gateways Strategy. The Department of Human Services commissioned evaluations of all three areas of work with an aim to test the effectiveness of these strategies and to make recommendations for the future development in the area of culturally appropriate service access and delivery. These evaluations have been completed and offer a range of suggestions to further improve and streamline current practices and processes in order to ensure that more responsive HACC services are provided. Summary documents of the Key Findings and Recommendations from the Evaluation of the HACC Cultural Planning Strategy are available below, as well as the entire evaluation. Download documents
