Overview

In 2005, the Department of Human Services engaged Effective Change and PQ Associates to undertake a project to develop a resource to assist the department and Aboriginal organisations determine the most appropriate option(s) for funding and delivery of HACC services to Aboriginal communities.

The report highlights the need for a more coordinated approach to HACC funding and service models around Aboriginal organisations' capacity building, Assessment/Client Care Coordination activities, planning for the longer term and enhancing the relationships between HACC funded Aboriginal organisations and the broader service system.
