Other reforms

A range of other non-legislative initiatives are in the pipeline and will be implemented in tandem with the legislative changes over the next 2 years.

These include:

• A new risk classification framework and risk classification tool to support the new classes proposed under the declaration that will be made under the amended Act  
• A data collection and reporting framework
• New databases for temporary and mobile food premises and food sampling results
• Simplified food safety program templates.
