Food safety in emergency situations
In emergency situations, such as bushfires, natural disasters and power failures, it is vitally important that good food safety practices are continually followed so as to avoid food poisoning in vulnerable and affected communities.
The following flyers explain how you can prevent food poisoning in emergency situations.
If you'd like to help during an emergency, contact Red Cross, a local emergency service organisation, or your council to determine the best way to assist.
This flyer contains more information on how to help.
