Single-site researchThe following pages are relevant to single-site research:
Withdrawal of the Common Application Form (CAF) From 2012 the Department of Health Human Research Ethics Committee will no longer be using the Common Application Form (CAF). Applications must be presented using the National Ethics Application Form (NEAF) along with the Victorian Specific Module. See General information on this website. For those researchers applying for ethical review to the Department of Health Human Research Ethics Committee (DH HREC) the NEAF should be accessed via the National Health and Medical Research Council's NEAF website. Use of the NEAF involves researchers creating an account. There is a system of support to assist researchers in completing the form. Applications to the DH HREC must then be submitted by emailing a complete PDF of the application to research.ethics@health.vic.gov.au and providing two hard copies to the committee secretariat. |
