Victorian Bushfire Information Line For information on fires in Victoria and general fire safety advice, contact the Victorian Bushfire Information Line on freecall 1800 240 667. Callers who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech / communication impairment may call textphone / telewriter (TTY) on 1800 122 969. Information is also available at the Department of Sustainability & Environment and Country Fire Authority websites. Air quality - smoke For further information about air quality monitoring, smoke visibility and health advice refer to the Bushfires and air quality page on the Environment Protection Authority (EPA) website. Drinking water quality Emergencies such as bushfires sometimes impact on drinking water supply or quality. In all cases, further information can be obtained from the relevant water authority. |
