Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing Environmental Health Section
The Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing Environmental Health Section provides advice on environmental health matters to the Minister for Health and Ageing and a wide range of Commonwealth, State and Territory agencies, industry and the general community.

enHealth Council
The Enhealth Council provides national leadership on environmental health issues, set priorities, coordinate national policies and programs and provide a pivotal link between international for a and environmental health stakeholders in Australia. It is also responsible for the implementation of the National Environmental Health Strategy.

Australian Health Protection Committee (AHPC)
The Australian Health Protection Committee broadens the membership of the former Australian Health Disaster Management Policy Committee (AHDMPC) with the chairs of the CDNA and the Public Health Laboratory Network. The Chair of enHealth is also a member of AHPC.

The AHPC advises and makes recommendations to AHMAC on national approaches to public health emergencies, communicable disease (excluding chronic disease) threats and environmental threats to public health, including long-term threats.

Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency
The Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA) , as part of the Health and Ageing Portfolio, is a Federal Government agency charged with responsibility for protecting the health and safety of people, and the environment, from the harmful effects of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation.
