Investigation of Pharmaceutical Misuse amongst Drug Treatment Clients

The 'Investigation of pharmaceutical misuse amongst drug treatment clients' documents findings from a research project into the nature and extent of pharmaceutical drug misuse, and the adverse consequences of this misuse, in patients presenting for treatment at drug and alcohol treatment agencies in four Australian states (Victoria, Tasmania, WA and Queensland). The project was funded through the Ministerial Council on Drug Strategy Cost Shared Funding Model. It was conducted by a consortium led by Turning Point Alcohol and Drug Centre (Victoria), with the University of Tasmania, National Drug Research Institute (WA) and Queensland Health.
