Victoria's Alcohol Action Plan 2008-2013Page content: Overview | Download document Overview'Restoring the balance' – Victoria’s Alcohol Action Plan 2008 - 2013 details the Victorian Government’s actions to prevent and reduce harm associated with alcohol misuse in Victoria. It identifies both specific immediate actions to be undertaken and establishes a long-term framework for change that will focus action across government, stakeholders and the whole community. The action plan provides a comprehensive framework to reduce the effects of risky drinking for Families, within our Culture, and for our Community, while also working in Partnership with Commonwealth and other state and territory governments to address alcohol-related issues at a national level. It emphasises integrated action across government, informed by expert advice and evidence-based practice. The plan outlines 35 actions in these four priority areas. Download document |
