Heroin overdose prevention campaign - pills and heroin kill

It's hard to swallow but pills and heroin kill - posterThe heroin overdose prevention campaign is a collaborative project involving the Department of Human Services, as well as key players in the management of issues around injecting drug use, including VIVAIDS, Turning Point, many NSPs and other stakeholders.

The key messages were developed with the sector and users to communicate the key risk factors around heroin overdose. This is the third message in the suite. We have had positive feedback from health professionals who report that the materials have been useful in informing IDUs of behaviours that increase the likelihood of overdose.

In this kit of materials is a form that you can use to request more resources.

We are hopefully that you can help us by providing feedback, on the resources themselves, and on the response of users to the materials and the issues they raise.

Thanks again for your great efforts in helping us with this project.
