The Regional & Corporate Coordination division is responsible for departmental and health system financial operations, provides leadership and operational support to regions in the provision of local health service planning and health intelligence; along with people and organisational development services for the department.

In addition, the division is also responsible for the APU, Protected Disclosure activities, Freedom of Information services, risk management and engagement with the offices of the Privacy Commissioner, Auditor-General and Ombudsman either directly or through shared services arrangements with the Department of Human Services (DHS). The division is the primary management point for shared service arrangements with DHS.
