Quality of Care Report Training for stand alone Community Health Centres 2006Page contents: Introduction | Download documentIntroductionA Quality of Care Report training day for stand alone community health centres was conducted on Monday 9 October 2006. The training day was jointly organised by the Quality and Safety Branch and the Primary Health Branch of the department. The department provided the policy context and rationale for requiring stand alone community health centres to produce Quality of Care Reports for their communities. Consumers and staff from a number of acute and primary health services conducted a variety of workshops. A total of 55 participants from 29 stand alone community health centres attended the training day. Feedback from the day has now been collated and will be used to revise the guidelines for the 2006-07 reports. The files below contain activities suggested at the training day for possible use in the development of Quality of Care Reports. The suggested activities include minimum reporting requirements for stand alone community health centres, their completed guides on how to develop a quality of care report (workshop sessions 1-5), and the presentations from the workshop leaders. If you would like any further information or the opportunity to provide comment please contact Cath Harmer, Program Manager on (61 3) 9096 6176 or via catherine.harmer@dhs.vic.gov.au.
