Over 300 Board members attended governance training workshops for Boards of Community Health & Women's Health Services between August and November 2005.
The workshops, conducted by Kathy Wilson Consulting, included eight modules:
- Good Governance: Core Concepts;
- Financials for the Responsible Board Members;
- Strategic Focus: Women's Health;
- Strategic Focus: Community Health;
- The Effective Chair;
- Clinical Governance;
- Risk Management; and
- The Board-CEO relationship.
