Working with General Practice
This section provides information about working with general practice and improving feedback to general practice.
Working with general practice DHS position statement and resource guide
The Working with General Practice DHS position statement articulates the department's vision for a strengthened collaborative interface with general practice, and highlights opportunities to further align State and Commonwealth agendas. It was developed primarily for a departmental audience, but also serves as a valuable guide for State-funded agencies and the general practice sector in relation to improved intersectoral collaboration.
It is supported by a resource guide, which provides practical information for departmental staff looking to ensure that general practice is consulted with and engaged in various state health initiatives.
