Emergency Care - Clinical Networks in Victoria

The overall purpose of the clinical networks is to promote and facilitate sustainable improvements and innovation in the delivery of emergency care in Victorian emergency departments (EDs).

The key priority areas of the network are to:

promote evidence-based care to reduce variation in clinical practice
enhance best practice in caring for the young, older person and difficult behaviour
enhance patient safety by better use of medicines
promote patient-centred care
enhance staff capacity to lead and improve emergency care.
