Care of the older person in emergency departments

Enhancing the use of best practice in caring for the older person in emergency departments (ED) is a priority area for the Emergency Care Improvement and Innovation Clinical Network (ECIICN). The forum offered attendees an opportunity to hear from experts, share their experiences and build a team approach to the care of the older person in ED.

More than 80 participants attended the forum and heard presentations from a range of experts on the patient journey, better use in medicine and best practice and innovative approaches.
